Internship at [p3]

 
 
 

An internship with us can be done in different departments and to various lengths; regardless of gender or age. We are a young and dynamic team and always full of good ideas where we are happy to get YOUR support, creative inspiration or knowledge. Possible areas where you can do a work experience are:

  • Hydroponics

  • Product Design

  • Media & Marketing

  • Office

  • School (e.g. German or Math)

In the past year we have had a lot of different people who worked in almost all areas here at [p3]. They all had different backgrounds and came from different countries. Their ages varied from 16-45 years. Some just caught a glimpse and others gained a deeper insight of our work and contributed to projects - which was great!

Some interns even started with a work experience and are now employed here at [p3]. We are always happy about your contribution to either the production in our carpentry, gardening and learning more about hydroponics, teaching German or Maths, supporting our EQ-participants or creating media content.

 
 

Meet Trym

“My experience at [p3] has been great, I have been here for the last two years as I decided to continue coming here to work for a second year. In [p3] I have got to consistently use my creative side, and I have taken photos, made videos, and worked on the [p3] social media accounts. This has been a very rewarding experience, and I am very grateful for having the opportunity to come here to work.

I really like the Kulturwerkstatt at [p3], as it is a nice environment to work in, with high-quality furniture. I have also always been fascinated with the hydroponics at [p3], both the large hydroponics farm, as well as the small hydroponic systems inside the Kulturwerkstatt.”

 
 

Meet Mariam

“Hi! My name is Mariam and I come from Venezuela. It’s been 7 months since I came to Freiburg and since I started my weekly service here at [p3]. The school where I am, UWC, is considered to be a school for changemakers, people from all over the world come because of their shared passion of making the world a better place. The first time I went to [p3] and got a tour from Cynthia I saw how some people are already doing that. I recommend coming to see the magic in person; it was thanks to the hydroponics in the entrance, the map that shows how refugees come from all over the world and the cool furniture I wish I could buy for my very small room at school that I understood what [p3] is all about. I am behind some of the posts and reels in the Instagram! That is the small contribution I can make to the team. Even though I know only how to say “Can I take a video?” in a grammatically incorrect way, the team always made me feel welcome! I enjoyed being around new people and I even met Alex and Nico who also speak spanish! I will miss coming to work with Cynthia and Rahel. [p3] gave me much to be thankful for this year, hope you also discover the experience!”
